September 2026 product updates

Keep useful tags as your work changes, choose clearer dashboard measure labels, and document decisions with Approvals. Plus easier workspace creation, reorganised picklists and duplicate checks without AI.

Features depend on your plan, permissions and environment configuration. Approvals and tooltip tailoring follow the existing Enterprise entitlements. Workflow Navigator is not yet available.

Highlights

  • Retire tags while retaining existing assignments and useful filters.

  • Choose Primary/Supporting or Key/Supporting dashboard wording.

  • Work with clearer Approvals records, workspace controls and picklists.

  1. Keep useful tags as your work changes

You can now retire Benefit Tags and General Tags. A retired tag is no longer available to add to new items, while existing assignments remain in place and the tag stays available for filtering.

This lets you update your labels without losing the context of earlier work. To retire a tag, go to Settings > Customisation, choose Benefit Tags or General Tags, edit the tag and select Retired.

The workspace Categories tab is now called Filters, making it easier to find the tags and picklist values used to narrow your view. Visualisations also support tag filtering, helping you focus on the items you want to examine.

  1. Choose the measure wording that fits your organisation

Dashboard measure categories can now use Primary and Supporting or Key and Supporting.

Under Settings > Customisation> Environment, the setting Use primary and supporting as dashboard categories for measures (recommended) is set to Yes by default. Choose No if your organisation prefers Key and Supporting.

The wording applies across your environment. It does not change the underlying measure values or calculations.

  1. Make responsibilities and decisions clearer

New workspaces include a set of business Role definitions with descriptions, categories and common responsibilities. These give you a starting point that you can tailor to how your organisation works.

The supplied Role items are initially deleted. Use More > Show deleted to find them, restore the roles you need and edit them for your own use. These are business responsibilities, separate from user access permissions.

The feature previously called Status & Sign is now Approvals. It supports reusable decision records for Value Cases and Teams, including progress, an authorizer role and contact, a decision, and decision timing where required. Templates are managed under Settings > Advanced > Approvals. In the current Value Case interface, open Authorisation > Approvals.

Approvals help you keep a clearer record of sign-offs and commitments. The person recorded as authorising a decision can be different from the user entering the record.

  1. Work more consistently in your workspace

Switching workspaces now remembers the type of item you were viewing, helping you continue with less re-selection.

You can also create Assets directly in a workspace and on a map. This gives you another convenient starting point when building your model.

  1. Find settings and guidance more easily

Under Settings > Picklists, commonly used editable picklists are now grouped together. These include the Starred, Priority and Status lists used across items, alongside lists relevant to individual item types.

Separate groups make system picklists and additional configurable picklists easier to distinguish. Enterprise customers can use the additional configurable lists when tailoring their fields.

Column-heading tooltips have also been improved across multiple screens. Enterprise customers can tailor tooltip wording to their environment.

  1. Check for duplicates without AI

An environment setting now lets you turn Wovex’s own duplicate checks on or off, independently of AI access. These checks can help identify identical or very similar item names and reduce inadvertent duplication.

Find Check for duplicate items using Wovex logic (Wovex can check for duplicates even without AI) under Settings > Customisation> Environment.

  1. Fixes and availability notes

  • Portfolio Optimisation: We fixed an error when selecting Save and Close.

  • Workflow Navigator: this feature is not yet available. You may see preparatory buttons or menu entries that are not functional yet. Further details will follow.

These are the changes included in our September roundup. For help using a feature in your environment, contact Wovex support.
