Buying guide

Which benefits management platforms offer automated data collection capabilities?

Compare collection routes in Wovex, Amplify and Kiplot, then test the source-to-review handoff and the human responsibilities that remain.

Wovex

Summary

For project and transformation benefits, Wovex supports guided data submissions and configured reminders from Benefits Performance Hub and Enterprise. Amplify documents reminders and bulk imports; Kiplot documents synchronisation of Jira delivery information. These are different automation routes, not interchangeable guarantees of automatic benefit evidence. Confirm the exact source, destination, data scope, licence and configuration. Test missing updates, corrections and repeated transfers before accepting a proposed collection process.

Specify what automated collection must do

Some benefits management platforms automate requests and reminders; others provide imports or supported system integrations. These capabilities solve different problems. Shortlist against a named collection task and test the complete journey from source to reviewed benefit evidence.

This guide concerns benefits realisation for projects, programmes and business change. Employee-benefits administration platforms address a different requirement, even when they use similar words about automated collection.

For the process definitions, read what automated benefits data collection involves. This buying guide compares documented approaches and provides a supplier acceptance test. It does not repeat the operating-method guide or certify a connector catalogue.

Compare platforms by the collection route

The following examples reflect official material checked on 26 October 2026. They are not an exhaustive shortlist or a ranking. Confirm current licensing, configuration, support and implementation responsibilities with each supplier.

Platform or approach

Documented capability and its boundary

Wovex

Submit My Values supports guided submissions by assigned data collectors, with configured reminders, from Benefits Performance Hub and Enterprise. A reminder supports a person supplying evidence; it is not an automatic feed from another application.

Amplify

Managing Data describes due-entry reminders and bulk imports. Fast Load documentation describes Excel preparation, mapping and processing. This establishes an assisted import route, not unattended scheduled extraction from every source.

Kiplot

Its Jira integration page describes bidirectional synchronisation of delivery information with field mapping. This can support portfolio context; it does not by itself establish automatic collection of operational benefit outcomes from an unrelated system.

Review Amplify’s Managing Data guidance, its Fast Load Benefits instructions and Kiplot’s Jira integration description. Kiplot also describes financial and nonfinancial benefit tracking. Confirm the exact relationship between a connected delivery field and the benefit evidence required.

These are different levels of automation. A file import can be suitable for a monthly process even when someone prepares and uploads it. A live delivery connection may be useful without supplying the service or financial result needed to assess a benefit. Ask what remains manual instead of treating automation as a yes-or-no feature.

Write a collection requirement that can be demonstrated

Begin with one meaningful measure. Record the unit, population, reporting period and authoritative source. Name the person responsible for the source and the person who reviews its use as benefits evidence.

Specify which work you want to automate: identifying a due update, reminding a contributor, receiving a submission, moving values, calculating a result or flagging an exception. An API is an interface; an operational integration also needs mapping, authentication, monitoring, correction handling and support.

Include the destination. A connection that creates initiative records may not populate benefit-period actuals. An imported cost value is not automatically a realised saving. A calculation can produce a number without establishing that its inputs are appropriate or complete.

Ask the supplier to identify standard capability, customer configuration, partner work and proposed development separately. Agree the plan, add-ons and ongoing maintenance for the specific route. A connector logo or a general integration statement is insufficient evidence of your required handoff.

Test a normal update and three exceptions

Use a fictional monthly service-resolution measure. The operational system holds total handling minutes and completed cases. A reviewed average is used to assess a service improvement. This is an illustrative test, not a claim that any named platform provides this exact connection.

For June, the source contains 9,600 handling minutes and 800 completed cases, giving 12 minutes per case. Test that the destination preserves the period, inputs or agreed result, units and source reference. If the source already supplies an approved average, establish whether recalculation is necessary.

Then test the exceptions:

  1. Missing source: July’s extract does not arrive. Show how someone notices, who acts and how the missing result appears in the review. It must remain distinguishable from a measured zero.

  2. Correction: June’s completed-case count is corrected to 750 while handling minutes remain 9,600. The illustrative average becomes 12.8 minutes. Show the correction route, explanation and effect on the relevant review output.

  3. Repeat delivery: Resubmit the same June records. Establish how the proposed integration avoids duplicate observations or an unintended second contribution.

Inspect source and destination together. Check record counts, keys, period boundaries, excluded records and the calculation basis. Demonstrate a failed mapping or rejected record rather than showing only a successful connection message.

These are acceptance requirements to test, not claims that every product handles each case automatically. Record what was demonstrated and what remains unresolved.

What Wovex can support

Wovex’s guided collection route gives assigned data collectors a way to submit the values or inputs needed by tracked measures. Configured reminders support the collection cycle. Tracking Data provides a working view for inspecting and updating period information. These live collection and tracking capabilities are available from Benefits Performance Hub and Enterprise, subject to configuration and permissions.

Agree the operational assignment as well as the person accountable for the benefit. A named stakeholder or contact does not, by itself, establish that the person has the access and collection assignment required to supply an update.

For external data, ask Wovex to confirm the supported import, export or API route for the intended system and record scope. The available evidence does not establish a universal native connector or automatic two-way synchronisation with any named finance, service or project system. Have the proposed handoff demonstrated before relying on it.

Keep source accuracy and benefit interpretation in the review process. Successfully receiving a number does not validate its definition, prove attribution or accept a financial claim.

Select the route and name who maintains it

Choose the least complex arrangement that satisfies the decision need. Guided submissions can fit values requiring human interpretation. Controlled imports can fit periodic batches. A supported scheduled integration can fit stable, recurring transfers where the setup and maintenance are justified.

Retain a short acceptance record: source, destination, data scope, frequency, method, demonstrated exceptions, licence requirements and responsible people. Agree who responds when the source changes, a contributor leaves or a correction affects an earlier report.

Use the project-data handoff buying guide for the wider transfer specification and the data-quality guide for validation before reporting. Select a platform for the work it demonstrably supports, including the human review that remains necessary.

Sources and context

Sources checked 26 October 2026. Vendor descriptions are based on official documentation or supplier product pages, not independent product tests. Confirm current plans, modules, configuration and integration scope. Worked examples and buyer tests are fictional Wovex-authored guidance, not customer results or mandatory standards. Wovex capability wording was checked against the supplied Product Canon. No universal connector, automated validation or forecast-versioning claim is made.
